2024년부터 시작된 본 작업은 이동하는 동안 채집한 소리들로 구성된다. 버스, 택시, 걷는 길 위에서 — 과거가 불현듯 현재로 되돌아오는 감각이 올 때, 작가는 녹음을 시작한다. 그 순간은 예고 없이 찾아온다. 특정한 소음이 시간을 접어, 이미 지나간 것을 지금 이 자리로 불러온다. 이 작업은 기억의 기록이 아니다. 작가가 포착하려는 것은 사건이나 장면이 아니라, 소리가 시간의 층위를 무너뜨리는 바로 그 찰나다. 채집된 소리들은 사운드 설치로 구성되며, 관람자는 그 귀환의 감각 안에 머물도록 초대된다 — 어디로부터 왔는지 알 수 없는 소리와 함께, 잠시 다른 시간선 위에 서게 된다.

Begun in 2024, this work is built from sounds collected while in transit. On buses, in taxis, along roads on foot — recording begins in a specific kind of moment: when the past suddenly folds back into the present, when a sensation of return arrives without warning. A particular noise collapses the distance between what has already passed and what is happening now. This practice is not documentation. What the artist seeks to capture is not an event or a scene, but the precise instant in which sound dismantles the layers of time. The collected sounds are assembled into sound installations, inviting viewers to remain inside that sensation of return — to stand, briefly, on a different timeline, alongside a sound whose origin cannot be placed.
